Summary

A loving send-up of the 1950s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score and a hilarious script, Birdie continues to thrill audiences around the world.

History

Bye Bye Birdie opened on Broadway on April 14, 1960 and played for 607 performances at the Martin Beck Theatre (later at the 54th Street and the Shubert Theatres) starring Chita Rivera as Rose and Dick Van Dyke as Albert. The show played for 268 performances in London at Her Majesty’s Theatre. In 2009, it was revived on Broadway at Henry Miller’s Theatre.

A Note on Ticket Fees

We use Zeffy to ensure 100% of your ticket price goes directly to our organization.
At checkout, Zeffy will ask for an optional ‘tip’ to keep their services free for nonprofits like us.

This is completely optional. If you do not wish to tip, simply select ‘Other’ from the dropdown menu and enter ‘$0’.

This also means we are unable to provide ANY refunds or exchanges.

Step 3

Performance Venue

is located at:
Renaissance Theatre
Pebble Creek Tuscany Clubhouse
16222 W Clubhouse Dr
Goodyear, AZ 85395

Importantly, you MUST enter the community by turning on Clubhouse Drive from Pebble Creek Parkway (the main North/South road you’ll turn on from I-10). All other roads take you to entry gates that are locked to non-residents. In other words – don’t believe your navigation if it tries to take you another way. At the guard gate on Clubhouse Dr, tell the attendant that you are going to the theater. They can provide additional directions if needed.
